Personal Practice

A guided personal practice is the best way to form an intimate connection with yourself through the practice of yoga. Breathing with movement, meditation in motion, having a teacher guide you through intuitive and careful instruction will ground you in your experience with a knowledgeable teacher. When you begin a practice with Leilani Yoga, each session will be completely unique and unrepeatable, as each moment you show up guides how I instruct you, shows me what to give you next. In this way, it is your guided path to a personal yoga practice.

Modalities

Hatha Yoga practices work from the spine outwards, to the nerves, and the balancing of the body's alignments. In asana, we become one with our breath. Using movement or breath, we drop into stillness of the mind.

Pranayama, guided meditations, non-dual awareness meditations, as well as yoga nidra, assist our movement practices to relax and reset.

Acknowledging Teachers

I studied in Portland, Oregon under Sarah Ewing and Suniti Dernovsek. I have also studied under Bhavani Maki and Rama Jyoti Vernon, and teach from their lineage and perspective.
